BUFFALO EMBASSY PROJECT
The Buffalo Embassy Project is a personal effort to create a network of friendly places for Buffalonians who have roamed far from New York's Queen City to sit back with a beer and talk of the place they once called home. As a native of Buffalo, NY, I'm continually surprised by the many encounters I've had with other Western New Yorkers in far flung places.
So far I've developed the group's seal, a membership certificate and a sticker to place in a window to signify that a given place is an official embassy. I am also planning to develop a website to advertise the location of these outposts and a pdf field guide that would explain important survival tips, such as how to properly eat a chicken wing and what to do if you are under siege by an angry horde of Dolphin's fans.
